John Pence is the founder of Pence Law Group, where he brings his extensive experience in corporate, regulatory, and political law for clients across the United States and the globe.

Before launching Pence Law Group, Pence was Of Counsel at Ice Miller LLP, where he practiced in government affairs, political law, and regulatory law. His expertise spans lobbying for major tech and crypto companies, including Tesla and Finance, as well as advising high-impact political PACs and campaigns. He has counseled globe companies and individuals on sanctions compliance and regulatory issues before OFAC and was a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice.

During the 2024 election cycle, John represented a prominent pro-Trump super PAC in Pennsylvania, a pro-Kennedy super PAC on ballot access issues, and several Republican candidates and GOP PACs across the country.

Pence  currently serves as General Counsel of Frontline Strategies and Vice Chairman of Frontline Government Relations, where he brings his extensive experience in political strategy, legal counsel, and government affairs. Frontline Strategies is one of the leading digital fundraising companies for conservative campaigns and causes.

John is a polyglot. Fluent in Spanish, proficient in Portuguese, and conversant in Arabic, his multilingual communication skills have made him a sought-after business and government relations strategist and spokesperson. He appeared regularly on Fox News, CNN Español, and hundreds of local media affiliates across more than 30 states from 2017 to 2020. Pence was a key player in the Trump Campaign from 2016 to 2020, initially serving as Deputy Executive Director and later as Senior Advisor to President Trump, the White House Office of Political Affairs and the Republican National Committee, driving strategic initiatives and providing counsel on key political and policy matters.

John provides steady counsel in high stakes circumstances paired with creative thinking that distinguishes him in the legal and business professions. John received his juris doctor from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law and his Master of Business Administration in finance and management from NYU Stern’s School of Business. John received his Bachelor of Arts from The College of William & Mary. He is a fierce competitor, recently being inducted into William & Mary's Athletic Hall of Fame.
